Our mission
In response to the interest of many of our friends in the staffing industry whom we’ve had the privilege of meeting over the years, the ERE Foundation is inviting members of the staffing community and their partners to join us in support of education and literacy programs that provide underprivileged young people with the skills they need for future careers all over the world.
Originally founded by employees and friends of ERE Media, the ERE Foundation is a modest initiative formed to help make a difference in the lives of young people. The ERE Foundation will be hosting fundraising events, like our third annual charity auction, and other community outreach programs throughout the year to support educational opportunities for disadvantaged young people, with a particular emphasis on parts of the world where our funds will have the greatest impact.
Along the way we’ll be looking for some help and advice from advocates among our community who share our passion to give back to youngsters at the start of their career pipeline. If you would be willing to participate in an advisory role to the board of directors, which includes, for the moment, David Manaster, Kate Bruener, and Gerry Crispin, let us know.
Meanwhile we hope that - as a member of ERE’s recruiting and business professional community, or as someone who spends much of their professional life offering thousands of people career opportunities - you’ll join us in finding kids who need educational assistance and giving them a better chance at eventually getting one of those offers themselves.
Be sure to check the front page of the ERE Foundation website frequently. We’ll be posting news and updates of our efforts constantly. With the help of you and other members of the staffing community, we’ll have much progress to report in the coming months.
